PADDED STRAP SLING AND SHOULDER IMMOBILIZER
The Padded Sling and Shoulder Immobilizer features a universal design and provides maximum support when stability is desired for recovery from injuries. Easy-to-fit hook and loop closures ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The padded waist strap (on the shoulder immobilizer) helps restrict abduction and external rotation of the shoulder and can easily be removed.
- Universal size fits up to 80% of patient mix plus a bilateral design enhances ease of use; padded shoulder strap increases comfort and the thumb loop prevents migration; closed pocket design provides a secure fit while immobilizing the arm and shoulder.
- Padded Strap Sling: Indicated for injuries to the arm, shoulder, wrist or hand and cast support to maintain arm in neutral position
- Padded Strap Shoulder Immobilizer: Indicated for immobilization following rotator cuff repairs, S/P glenohumeral acromioplasty surgery or other shoulder related injuries
- Sling constructed of breathable poly/cotton material plus foam laminate padded straps with hook and loop closures and o-rings

Application
- Open sling and place arm inside, making sure elbow is as far back as possible in the sling.
- Thread shoulder strap through o-ring.
- Secure hook and loop so elbow is positioned at a 90-degree angle.
If necessary, there is a hook and loop adjustment behind the elbow to lengthen or shorten strap length. - Slide thumb through the loop on inside of sling for additional comfort and support.
Shoulder Immobilizer Only
- Position waist strap and pull behind your back.
- Thread strap through o-ring and pull tight to prevent arm from moving away from the body.
